Denver has recently been listed as the 6th best city to live in, and Colorado residents couldn’t be prouder!!
Not only is the Denver metro ideal for business– it’s breathtaking views, fantastic schools, fun nightlife and safe neighborhoods leave nothing to be desired!
We have some of the best hospitals, including those who specialize in children’s care and even National Jewish Health, the nations number one respiratory hospital!
One of 20 states leading the way to a greener energy. Many homeowners have started using solar panels for power and our residents are very conscious about what we’re putting into the air and use carpools or the light rail and bus services to get to their destinations. University of Colorado- Denver even has an amazing program using wind to power their school.DU’s Sturm College of Law recently broke ground on their first ever, brand new, green building that uses 40% less water, gas and electricity than the conventional class building!
FBI listed Aurora as the 5th safest city to live in with a population over 200,000. While the FBI listed Aurora as the 5th, I invite you to look at cities in the south Denver Metro area that I know are equally as good or better– such as: Castle Rock, Highlands Ranch, Lone Tree, Centennial (just to name a few) are very safe, priced affordable and offer an equally wide range of activities near by!
2008 Denver/Boulder were listed as the best cities for singles. The nightlife in Denver for singles is supreme and since this is considered an outdoor state– the possibilities of meeting someone are endless! Hit up a bar, church or even a gym– most Coloradans are friendly so it’s easy to make the first move!
CNN Money listed Colorado Springs as 100th, Fort Collins as 39th and Denver as 7th on their list of 100 Best Places to Live & Launch 2008. Small business is booming… and big business is making it’s way back to the Denver-Metro area. Wells Fargo will be moving it’s home office to the Denver Metro andIkea will be breaking ground in the coming months for their new store just outside the Mile High City. Vestas Wind Systems will also make it’s way to the Denver Metro and employ thousands of new workers in the green energy field! Though our economy may be struggling– Denver still has plenty of opportunities– create your dream job!!
Sperlings Best Places listed Denver, CO as 9th healthiest city in America and to continue the trend The City of Denver has created Healthy People 2010, where they promote physical activities and healthy eating. As well as study and teach the effects of nicotine, drugs and alcohol, cancer and other diseases. Should be interesting to see the results next year!
Cherry Creek Schools in Arapahoe County have won awards for Best Nutrition Program in 2005-2006, Best School District, Best Superintendent and a long list of Teachers of the year!
Douglas County is the 3rd largest school district in Colorado. Offers six charter schools, 4 option schools and even a choice in online education!
Colorado weather is fabulous. Contrary to what you might believe– Denver offers an interesting range in temperature in the winter and warm days in the summer! It may snow one day– but it may be gone just as fast as it came in! The motto in Denver is “If you don’t like the weather now… wait a minute.”
Colorado might possibly be what you’re looking for– these are just a few reasons but if you’re eager to learn more, just ask any Coloradan and they’ll tell you why this place should be your new home!
