Highlands Ranch is 25!
June 28th, 2006 Posted in DenverOn July 4, 2006 Highlands Ranch will celebrate its 25th Birthday. There are many celebrations going on for the 4th as well as a Birthday Party.
MileHighAgent.com recommends joining the CottonCreek Drive Fourth of July Parade at 10am. Decorate your bikes, strollers, wagons, pets and parents for a fun parade through CottonCreek Drive. A cool Harley Davidson will lead the parade and a Fire Engine is our trailer. Prizes will be awarded to the best decorated and most patriotic – cool treats will also be provided.
Another parade begins at 9am at Town Center & Civic Green Park. Highlands Ranch is putting on a larger Kids’ Pet & Bike Parade from 3pm – 4pm.
Join Highlands Ranch residents all day for the Concurrent Concerts. All our favorites will be there: Michael Friedman with Swingset Jazz, Cliff Sprat, Nacho Men, Highlands Ranch Community Concert Band, Highlands Ranch Community Chorus, the 17th Avenue All Stars, the Kook Kats and Deja Blu.
Runners will enjoy the HRCA Independence Day Sunset 10k and of course all of the festivities will end with the Annual Highlands Ranch Fireworks Display at 9:15 (Location Highlands Ranch Parkway & Ridgeline).
